Rx HealthCare Services is a nurse-owned, family-operated home health, hospice and caregiving company serving the Sacramento area for over 35 years. We are looking for a hands-on Office & IT Support Coordinator to keep our Marconi Ave office running. This position reports directly to the CEO/COO.
This is not a desk job. On any given day you might set up a laptop and phone for a new hire, get a printer back online, sort out someone’s Outlook, assemble a desk, hang a whiteboard, let the HVAC tech in, and set up the training room for an event. If you’re the person your last office called when something broke, read on.
What you’ll do
- IT support (first line): set up and issue laptops, phones and accounts for new hires; troubleshoot printers, copiers, Wi-Fi, Outlook, Teams and basic PC problems; track equipment (asset tags, check-in/check-out); escalate bigger issues to our IT administrator.
- Facilities and light handiwork: assemble and move furniture, hang and mount items, replace bulbs and batteries, handle small fixes around the office, keep the building and supply rooms in working order.
- Vendors and maintenance: schedule and meet building maintenance, copier, phone and other vendors; get quotes; follow up until the job is done; place the monthly supply orders.
- Events: plan and set up staff meetings, trainings and company events – room, equipment, food and supplies.
- Also: support new-hire onboarding (orientation scheduling, keys and alarm codes), keep managers’ calendars, take minutes in manager meetings, and help leadership with expense reports and other admin as needed.
You’ll fit if you
- Have real hands-on IT experience: help desk, desktop support, or being the go-to tech person at your last job (required)
- Are comfortable with basic tools (drill, ladder, tape measure) and can lift up to 40 lbs
- Stay on your feet, take ownership, and follow up without being chased
- Communicate well with clinicians, managers and vendors
- Office or administrative experience is a plus, not required
Hours and benefits: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts. 401(k) with matching, health, dental and vision insurance, FSA, HSA, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, referral program.
Work location: In person
